Kalan.frfr has treated us by finally dropping his latest project 222, and it certainly did not disappoint. On this project, the Roc Nation-artist touches on various topics, from having faith in ‘Wish Upon A Star’, to grinding and staying focused in ‘Get Your Money’; whilst also becoming vulnerable in my one of our favourites from the project, ‘Last Night’. Comparatively mellower than some of his other works, this single still has an amazing vibe, making it difficult to not sing along to. This is largely due to the chorus, which floats easily over the bassy production, as Kalan sings about how he was hoping for his partner to call him. This single is a clear display of how amazing this project is, give ‘Last Night’ a listen and see for yourself. -Shanice L
